Fabulous 50's and Sensational 60's Weekends are island-wide celebrations of Wildwoods’ place in Rock ‘n Roll history. These weekends are all about music, dancing and most of all having fun! Both weekends kick off on Friday night with a dance party hosted by legendary Philadelphia radio DJ Jerry Blavatt "The Geeter with the Heater" in the Wildwoods Convention Center. Saturday afternoons feature a free all-day Street Fair on the boardwalk in front of the Convention Center with live entertainment, food, vendors, fun contests and more! Saturday evenings feature concerts at Convention Hall. The Sensational 60's concert includes performances by Paul Revere and The Raiders! The Fabulous 50's concert includes performances by Chubby Checker and a celebration of 50 years of the TWIST! |
